JOIN THE MOVEMENT THAT'S DOING
WHATEVER IT TAKES TO HELP CHILDREN

Children have rights. Their voices must be heard and their futures protected. But nobody can do it alone.
That’s why we build partnerships with local organizations, activists, children and communities, backed by thousands

CHILD SPOTLIGHT: FATIMA

CHILD SPOTLIGHT: FATIMA

Fatima (9 months) and her mother were referred to a stabilization center in Somalia, where they moved after being displaced by drought and losing their livestock. Fatima is not able to get enough nutritional food and their water supply isn’t of a good quality. Fatima had been very sick with diarrhea and vomiting.

In addition to treatment, the center also provided the family with her IV fluid, milk and RUTF, plus other medicines. Her mother Anima was given meals while staying with Fatima during treatment. Without this, she says that she might have had to leave the center, no matter what condition her daughter was in.
