Fardowsa* is 12 years old and lives in Ethiopia, where drought, food shortages, and ongoing conflict have left many families struggling to support themselves. Girls often bear the brunt, being forced to drop out of school or into child marriage. Fardowsa was able to stay in school thanks to a Save the Children-supported school and is one of the young activists working in her community to end child marriage.
