Your Impact

The severe drought in Zambia has resulted in dried up streams and wells and failed crops for families like Lawrence’s. People travelled hours each day to collect water, and dug holes in the ground to find water. Save the Children is responding by distributing food, cash, safe water, and school meals. Our local health partners are identifying and treating malnutrition and childhood diseases. We are supporting farmers with small livestock, and indigenous drought-tolerant and early maturing seeds.
