Mother’s Day comes once a year, but we can always make time to celebrate the mothers in our lives every day. Here are five ways you can express gratitude this Mother's Day:

1.Cook a meal together

Celebrate Mother’s Day by cooking together as a family and enjoying a yummy meal. Check out a fun focaccia recipe by Save the Children ambassador Roger Mooking!

2.Encourage self-care

Get together with Mom and

a yoga class, meditate, or visit a spa for the day. Moms work hard, and spending a few hours practicing self-care can help them to relax. It will be extra special if she gets to do these things with her children. Check out some tips to beat stress and find some relaxation.

3.Paint together

Art is great way to connect and build memories. Grab some canvas and paints to create a special masterpiece. Whether you are five or 15 or 50, your mom will still love doing something creative with you.

4.Explore the outdoors

Get outside and enjoy some fresh air with your mom. Whether you go for a long hike or a short nature walk, it will feel great to get out and get moving together. Being in nature together builds memories.

5.Buy her a Gift of Joy

Celebrate in a unique way this year. Buy your mother a gift that will support an Indigenous family expecting or caring for an infant. Save the Children’s Baby Bundle kit includes diapers, wipes, lotion, clothing, a digital thermometer, warm blanket and a plush toy.
