BVLGARI’s commitment builds on their support of Save the Children’s Rewrite the Future campaign in 2009, which improved the quality of education for over 10 million children worldwide.

BVLGARI continues its partnership with Save the Children to deliver quality education programs, including teacher training and an art education and therapy program that gives children a voice and creative outlet to work through their emotional distress.

What started as IKEA’s fight against child labour in the supply chain has developed into a broad commitment to create a better life for children. IKEA supports Save the Children projects around the world. Through their annual Soft Toy campaign, a portion of every soft toy sold goes to Save the Children and UNICEF in support of the educational needs of children in developing countries.

 MasterCard Foundation   THE MASTERCARD FOUNDATION
The MasterCard Foundationbelieves that every person has the potential to transform their lives and to improve the lives of their families and their communities. By increasing access to microfinance and youth education to those who need it most, the Foundation is enabling people to realize their potential and lift themselves out of poverty.

The MasterCard Foundation is currently supporting YouthSave a project aimed at developing and introducing a savings product for low-income youth in Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, and Nepal.  Save the Children is a member of the consortium of organizations overseeing this project and studying the economic, psychological, social, and health-related effects of youth savings on young people and their households.

  CANDENTE
Candente is a Canadian mining company with operations in Mexico and Peru . The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Candente Copper Corp. is contributing $200,000 over two years to support programming to improve the health and well-being of children and their families in northern Peru. Candente Gold Corp. has provided $50,000 to conduct a health and education needs assessment for a community in El Oro Mexico.

Established in 1918, Frigidaire designs and manufactures high-performing kitchen and laundry appliances. Frigidaire contributes a portion of sales from select home appliances to Save the Children and raised $100,000 for our Canadian programmes for First Nation mothers and their babies. The program focuses on strengthening the experience of bonding, attachment and security between parents and their infants.

 Teck   TECK
When the earthquake and tsunami devastated the coast of Japan in March, Teck provided $300,000 in support to enable Save the Children to help children and their families by giving immediate and direct support, distributing essential materials and providing services specifically tailored to children.

CIDA is Save the Children Canada's most important institutional partner. CIDA funds much of our emergency response and development projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Support is provided via CIDA’s bilateral branches, both the Global Initiatives Directorate and International Humanitarian Assistance Division within the Multilateral and Global Programs Branch, as well as the Partnerships with Canadians Branch.

Canadian Pacific Railway connects the Atlantic and the Pacific coasts with the heart of North America. For more than a century, Canadian Pacific has collaborated to generate fresh ideas and novel approaches that decrease transportation costs, increase operational efficiency, and continuously improve service to our customers. Following the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010, Canadian Pacific contributed a substantial gift to Save the Children’s humanitarian relief efforts.  The company also encouraged its employees to help Save the Children re-build Haiti by matching donations to our organization through its Employee Match Program.

Guess is an American clothing line brand that also markets fashion accessories. The company holds a semi-annual event at their stores across Canada and contributes 10% of sales to Save the Children to support our domestic and international programs.

La Fondation familale Trottier
The Trottier Family Foundation has been a longtime supporter of Save the Children Canada’s work, especially our education programs in Burkina Faso. Thanks in part to their generosity, in 2009-2010 Save the Children was able to improve access to quality education for more than 17,000 students in the country, resulting in a 78% pass rate.

Limited Brands Foundation supports community programs that focus on nurturing and mentoring children and improving education. The Imperial Oil Foundation concentrates support towards education, environment and civic and community programs; selecting programs that align community needs with business interests.   Manitoba Council of International Cooperation (MCIC)
MCIC coordinates and promotes public awareness of international issues, to foster member interaction, and to administer funds for international development. MCIC has supported Save the Children's emergency relief efforts in Pakistan, as well as an educational project designed to improve access to a quality education for marginalized children in conflict affected Colombia.

  Ontario Trillium Foundation
The Ontario Trillium Foundation is a strong supporter of Save the Children Canada’s Supporting Security parenting and children’s mental health project currently being implemented in the James Bay region of Ontario. The project is designed to strengthen the experience of bonding, attachment and security between Aboriginal parents and their infants, by training Aboriginal caregivers to recognize signs of infant distress and improve their responsiveness to infants’ security needs.

  Remedy'sRX Global Drug Mart
Remedy’sRx was the title sponsor for the Remedy’sRx Peru Challenge 2011 that raised funds for Save the Children Canada. The Remedy’sRx Peru Challenge 2011 engaged 26 participants who raised $125,000. Proceeds from the Remedy’sRx Peru Challenge 2011 went towards supporting Save the Children Canada's work in Latin America which focuses on preventing violence against children, providing access to appropriate education, reducing harmful child work by improving their working conditions, HIV and AIDS prevention, emergency response and promoting children's rights.

  Sanctuary for Kids
Sanctuary for Kids (S4K) is a not for profit foundation that serves to provide sanctuary for children who do not live with the right of safety in their lives. Sanctuary for Kids Foundation made a number of generous contributions to Save the Children Canada’s emergency relief efforts in Haiti and Pakistan. The organization raised funds via online auctions towards the purchase of two temporary health dispensaries, which have enabled nearly 35,000 children to access primary health care.

Scholastic   Scholastic Book Clubs
 
Scholastic Book Clubs' ClassroomsCare is a philanthropy-based literacy campaign designed to teach children about the joys and importance of reading and giving. Every year from January to May students in classrooms all across the country will read 10 books each and in turn, Scholastic Book Clubs donates 100 books (for a total donation of up to 100,000  new books) to disadvantaged children countrywide through literacy partners like Save the Children Canada.

  Tommy Hilfiger is a premium global lifestyle brand and first entered the Canadian market in 1989.  Tommy Hilfiger has more than 60 retail locations across the country and managed a fundraising campaign for Save the Children encouraging customers making a donation with purchase. $50,000 was raised and will support domestic programming with a focus on Aboriginal children in Canada along with international programming in Bangladesh.

The Webkinz Foundation was established to develop programs and donate funds to programs that benefit children. After featuring Save the Children Canada in “The Caring Valley” on Webkinz World (every Webkinz® pet comes with a secret code to access Webkinz World where children can feed and care for their virtual Webkinz™ pets), the Webkinz Foundation made a significant donation to Save the Children Canada’s education, health, and child protection programs.
