Birth registrations is required in Nicaragua in order to access any state service - health services, education, and eventually voting.  Your gift of $25 can help two children have their births registered and receive this basic right.

 

 $35 for school supplies

A backpack filled with school supplies - notebooks, a geometry set, pens and pencils and more is what your gift of $35 can provide to a child in need in Latin America.  You can give this child the tools they need to succeed.

 

 $50 to filter water

To provide clean water to children, rural schools need water filters.  Your gift of $50 can provide a school with this much needed supply to make school a healthy experience.

 

 

 $65 to support a family

A child with the HIV virus needs soya and milk to help them absorb the anti-retroviral medication that keeps them from getting sicker.  Your gift of $65 can help an HIV-positive child's family to produce the soya and milk they need.

 

 $80 for a school desk

The learning environment can make all the difference to a child's education.  Your gift of $80 can provide a locally-made desk able to seat two students in Burkina Faso or Kenya, giving them better conditions in which to learn.

 

 $100 to help a teacher

Teachers in Burkina Faso often need to walk long distances and cannot afford the luxury of a bicycle.  With this gift, a teacher can get to school, visit students and parents in the community and transport a sick child to a medical clinic.

 

 $120 for newborn health

Remote communities in Nicaragua often do not have access to health facilities.  Your gift of $120 can equip a team of health specialists to bring children into the world with the midwife service and emergency obstetric care they need.

 

 $150 for active living

Play and sports are essential to a child's health no matter where they live.  Your gift of $150 can equip an entire school in Bolivia with soccer balls, goal posts, volleyballs, a pump and uniforms for students to enjoy.

 

 $200 for meals for a year

Two children in a Burkina Faso school can receive lunch everyday for a year with your donation of $200.  Children need this nutrition to grow, stay healthy, focused and able to learn.  Your gift can provide that for the entire year.

 

 $300 to provide water

Schools in Nicaragua have wells, but the water needs to be purified to ensure that bacteria and viruses are removed.  Your gift can provide 6 ceramic water filters to rural schools in Nicaragua, keeping children healthy and happy.

 

 $500 to protect a life

Your gift of $500 can provide a child in Nicaragua with 10 doses of Pentaxine, a vaccine that can fight hepatitis - a debilitating and potentially fatal disease for children.  Your gift might save that child's life.

 

 $1000 to furnish a school

Your gift of $1000 can equip an entire school in Burkina Faso, Africa, with the necessary furniture.  This includes 90 tables and benches for 180 students, allowing them to focus on their education.
